In memory of JJ Stewart and other children who fight illness and in support of their families who fight with and for them, the Morrison will wear red & gold all this month (except for National Wear Red Day for the Heart Assn). JJ was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 7 months. During his six very engaged years, the bridges over the Willamette R. were his thing. He delighted in being driven over them, in seeing them from his hospital bed, in reciting facts about them to everyone he encountered and in getting to see the first illumination of the Morrison. WLB is extremely pleased his family wants to share his love of our bridges with all of us by illuminating the Morrison during his birthday month. JJ was born on Valentine's Day.
